Terms of Use

Last updated: July 26, 2026.

1. Scope And Contract Order

These Terms apply when you use the CGILighthouse website or client portal, request a quote, or order CGI production services from us. “Client” means the business or person identified in the applicable quote, order or invoice. A signed agreement, accepted quote, statement of work or other written project terms take priority over these general Terms if they conflict.

The CGILighthouse legal entity, registered details and tax identity responsible for an order will be identified in the applicable quote or first invoice. Questions may be sent to sales@cgilighthouse.com.

2. Services

CGILighthouse provides CGI production services, including product 3D modelling, furniture PDP image packs, isolated renders, lifestyle imagery, GLB assets, AR-ready assets, 360 spins and catalogue visuals. Website prices are starting prices. The confirmed scope, deliverables, formats, schedule, review stages and price are recorded for each project or task.

3. Quotes, Invoices, VAT And Payment

Prices may be stated in euros or US dollars. Unless the written quote says otherwise, any discount is applied to the net price first and applicable VAT or other required tax is then added. An invoice identifies the billing entity, task references, currency, tax treatment and payment terms. Invoice references may combine stable company, project and task identifiers.

Work on a task starts only after the required payment has been confirmed, unless we expressly agree a different credit or payment arrangement in writing. Online payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout or on the invoice. That provider may apply its own terms. A failed, reversed or disputed payment may pause work or delivery while the matter is resolved.

4. Client Materials

You confirm that you have the right to send us product drawings, references, brand assets, CAD files, images, logos, materials and other inputs needed for the project. You remain responsible for the accuracy of dimensions, product information and legal permissions in the materials you provide.

5. Deliverables And Usage Rights

Unless agreed differently in writing, after full payment you receive a commercial license to use the accepted final deliverables for the purposes described in the order. Working files, scene files, source assets, presets, internal process files and unpublished drafts remain CGILighthouse production materials unless they are expressly included as source deliverables.

Results and agreed source deliverables are retained and made available according to the applicable order or contract. Retention is not a substitute for the Client’s own backup. We may move retained files to a different compatible storage or archive provider while maintaining the agreed access and security obligations.

6. Result Review, Corrections And Closure

When a result is submitted in the portal, the Client may accept it or request corrections that are within the agreed task scope and any included revision allowance. Corrections cannot be submitted after a task has been accepted, automatically accepted or otherwise closed.

If an authorized project manager or client manager determines that requested changes exceed 30% of the originally agreed task scope, the additional work is treated as a new paid task rather than a correction to the current task. Product redesigns, a new creative direction, inaccurate or missing Client inputs and new output requirements may also require a new quote or task.

If the Client takes no action for 14 consecutive days after a result is submitted, the result is automatically accepted and the task is closed. We send reminders around days 10 and 13, but successful reminder delivery is not a condition of automatic closure. A valid correction request stops the current review timer; submission of a revised result starts a new 14-day review period. Only an authorized CGILighthouse project manager or administrator may reopen a closed task.

7. Portal Communication, Files And Audit Records

Project and task threads may include Client-visible messages and private CGILighthouse production discussion. A studio message becomes visible to the Client only when an authorized user marks it as Client-visible. Attachments inherit the visibility and access rules of their message.

Messages are not edited after posting. Deletion removes the message from ordinary view but retains a tombstone and audit record. Posting, changing visibility, deleting a message and changing important task or financial state may be recorded in an append-only audit history. Authorized users are responsible for protecting their accounts and for activity performed through them.

Chat attachments are normally retained for 60 days after the related task closes, unless the applicable contract specifies another period. They may then be permanently deleted. Results and source files follow the separate retention terms in the order or contract.

8. Website And Portal Availability

Website content is provided for general information and sales enquiry purposes. Portfolio examples, estimates and previews do not guarantee the same result for every project. We may maintain, update or temporarily suspend the website or portal. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or delivery of email notifications, and important deadlines remain visible in the portal where available.

9. Portfolio Use

Unless you request confidentiality in writing before the project begins, we may reference non-confidential completed work in our portfolio, case studies, proposals and social channels after public launch or after your written approval.

10. Acceptable Use And Account Security

You must not misuse the website or portal, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass company or project permissions, submit unlawful or infringing materials, or transmit harmful code, spam or deceptive content. Do not share account credentials. Company owners are responsible for reviewing and revoking their members’ permissions when access is no longer required.

11. Third-Party Services

Hosting, storage, payment and email functions may rely on third-party providers. Their availability and processing are outside our direct control. We select and configure providers with appropriate contractual and security measures, but their separate terms may also apply to the Client’s direct use of their services.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule and the applicable written order, CGILighthouse is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by website use, delayed email delivery, third-party platform requirements, unsupported browsers or inaccurate or unauthorized Client materials.

13. Changes And Contact

We may update these Terms as the website, portal or services change. The version that applies to an accepted order is the version incorporated into that order unless the parties agree otherwise. Questions about these Terms can be sent to sales@cgilighthouse.com.
